302 Dark Brown Banded Round

This shallow round bonsai pot features a dark brown clay with a band of marks made with a roller tool on the wheel. On the second day a slight ring was turned on the bottom and clay cut away leaving three extra wide feet and a big drainage hole. After a bisque firing it was wiped with iron oxide to enhance the clay texture and patina and fired once more to about 2300f.

All pots are handmade by Paul Olson and are durable freeze proof high fired stoneware, suitable for indoor and outdoor use year round. Wheel thrown and slab built without molds of any kind, each piece is unique and designed to last a lifetime. Measurements are on the outside of the pot at the widest dimension.
